The Government of Uganda has adopted an ICT-led Socio-economic Policy with focus on ICT Entrepreneurship Development under NDP III (2020/21-2024/25).
17 acres of land are available for development of an Information Technology (IT) / Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) Park that will act as a catalyst for shifting the country from a raw material-based economy to a knowledge-based economy.
The park will house technology companies, BPO operations, innovation labs, training centres, and supporting infrastructure. Supported by National Information Technology Authority (NITA-U).
